Most people who take their cars in to be detailed expect to have them washed, waxed and vacuumed and their dashboards wiped down. But that’s a misuse of the word “detail,” said Mike Henley, detail manager and assistant director of operations for Fine Auto Detailing, a service of Fine Airport Parking, 2010 N. Memorial Drive.
Henley came to Tulsa a year and a half ago from San Diego, where the word “detail” carries a different meaning than it does here.
