Parents, you’re always trying to figure out ways to keep your kiddos entertained, but it can be a significant strain on your wallet. Well, we have some good news for! Tulsa is home to a free theme park! Yes, you heard that right!
Tucked away in the city you will find The Gathering Place. It’s the perfect location to take the kids for a fun day without breaking your bank.
The Gathering Place opened in September 2018 and is a large park built by George Kaiser and 80 other corporate donors, and it’s designed so people of all ages can come to explore, play, and learn.
Guests are encouraged to explore the parks many attractions including Chapman Adventure Playground, which is five-acres worth of fun! This area is filled with signature towers, slides, climbing equipment, play gardens, sandlot, and even water areas! Don’t forget to bring Junior’s and Juniorette’s swimsuit and trunks!
Visitors can also enjoy the Skywalk Forest, featuring thrilling slides or even attempt net climbing from twenty feet above the ground! Yikes!
It’s a place you can feel proud to bring your family. Why? Because it’s dedicated to teaching kids and adults about the world around them. And even better still, the free park is dedicated to sustainability. The eco-friendly park was built using recycled materials everywhere possible. Even the water is filtered and reclaimed for each attraction.
So parents, what are you waiting for? Pile the kiddos into the car and head out for a free day full of fun!
Fine Airport Parking is proud to support The Gathering Place’s efforts towards sustainability and helping Tulsa grow in a positive light!
